Local Packaging, Thoughtfully Made

All of my packaging is produced in Sweden, reducing transport emissions and supporting local companies. I avoid cheap mass-produced packaging from sites like AliExpress, Temu or Shein. I choose instead to invest in quality, local and sustainable solutions.

• Small boxes: made from recyclable paper, perfect for guilt-free fika.
• Medium and big boxes: supplied by a Swedish company committed to sustainability, they're made of sturdy plastic (don't contain bisphenol - BPA - or phthalates), that I encourage you to reuse in the home or office as storage, or simply recycle it properly.

Fossil-free Deliveries

All of Italian Layers deliveries are fossil-free — I use an electric car powered only by renewable energy source — because tiramisù should arrive with love, not emissions.

Local First, Always

I don’t ship internationally. Instead, I focus on our Stockholm community, sourcing ingredients and supplies as locally as possible. This keeps the tiramisù fresh, supports nearby producers, and reduces the carbon footprint — without compromising on the taste, of course.

Food Waste Management

I run on small-scale production and prepare tiramisù mostly by order. This way, nothing is made in excess.
If a batch is close to expiry date and cannot be sold at full price, I offer it at a discounted price. If it still isn’t purchased, I make sure it never goes to waste by sharing it with friends or neighbours.
This ensures every tiramisù I make finds a happy home — and no food is ever wasted.
